Okay, so I'll log into Dokuga and everything is fine. However, sometimes when I open the FanFiction section, Dokuga will just Log me out. And the message that it gives me is "The username and password do not match" or something like that. I know this has nothing to do with my cookies or whatever since Dokuga is the only site that does this TT^TT

Cookies and cache are still the first thing you should clear out, Dokuga can get very sticky with them sometimes even if nothing else does. You can also try flsuhing your DNS Resolver cache.

For a PC: start menu>accessories> Command Prompt

When the black box pops up type this exactly: ipconfig/flushdns

For Macs depending on which Os you use, one of these SHOULD work (unless you're Terri >_>) To find the command prompt for Mac, go to start menu and in the search type Terminal.

To flush the DNS cache in Linux, restart the nscd daemon:-


- To restart the nscd daemon, type /etc/rc.d/init.d/nscd restart in your terminal
- Once you run the command your linux DNS cache will flush.

To flush the DNS cache in Mac OS X Leopard:-

- type lookupd -flushcache in your terminal to flush the DNS resolver cache.
ex: bash-2.05a$ lookupd -flushcache
- Once you run the command your DNS cache (in Mac OS X) will flush.

To flush the DNS cache in Mac OS X:-

- type dscacheutil -flushcache in your terminal to flush the DNS resolver cache.
ex: bash-2.05a$ dscacheutil -flushcache
- Once you run the command your DNS cache (in Mac OS X Leopard) will flush.

Sorry for the late reply - but it has nothing to do with my cookie. It's MY ACCOUNT. My cookies and everything else has already been cleared... etc. That's the first thing I tried. I also tried with other computers and the same thing happens.

First of all, do all the computers you've used run Internet Explorer as a browser? If so, that could be part of the problem, as the site DOES NOT work well with IE.

Also, I note that you are accessing the site through Verizon... is this a cable connection, WiFi, or what? That could also have something to do with connectivity problems, although it would seem that it would do it continuously.

If you are using Firefox as a browser, and your internet connection is via either DSL or cable, I am at a loss as to how to explain the glitch in your log-in. I've examined everything that *I* know to look at, and it's not making sense to me.

Nope, I use Fox. I'm not sure about Verizon (I live with my cousin) though >.> but I guess I'll try this with computers from my friends' house or something.
