All I remember was that it was AU and it was about Sesshomaru doing a school project and Kagome becomes a part of it.

Yeah I remember the story and my friend was the one that was actually looking for it, and I read so many fanfics in a day that they sometimes blend together and the one I think it is, is not the one. So I been looking back for it and haven't found it yet. >.<

I remember I read it on fanfiction.net a long time ago, but I can't find it. It's probably in my story alerts, by I've got over 400 of those . I believe the story you are referring to is Bold As Love by LoveIsAMovement. With such a unique plot, it is a real shame that it has not been updated for a few months now. I miss it!
