Help....

I am going mad, because my chapters lose all their spacings and line breaks as soon as I save. The problem is nothing new, google told me that. However, what ever has helped other people doesn't work for me.

Double spacing: Nope. (I also tried quattro spacing; didn't work either)
Using OpenOffice/Word/WordPad: Nope/Nope/Nope.
Using html editor to use < br > / <hr> : Nope/Nope.

And the best of it all: It is the same here as for ff.net. Happy me.

Is someone here a computer crack? I am desperate. I am lagging behind as it is, especially since my move, but now this...

This is just a question, why do you need double spacing and the such? I can understand that's how some people split their chapters and all, but your fics don't look that bad.

As for multiple spacing, you should just have to put one in once you copy it over. It's always worked that way for me.

If that doesn't work, you need to find the button which will let you edit the Html code. Then before the end of the <p> tag that you want the extra space in, you would put the <br /> tag. That should work.

I need to seperate different scenes from each other. Or otherwise people (including myself) will become confused.

I tried to write the </br> tag before the </p>. Unfortunately, it had no effect whatsoever on the text. Adding the spaces after I copied the text did not work either.

I know used "+++" to seperate them, but that is only a makeshift solution. Nothing I want to have for all eternity.

Well, I use ---000--- and center it. I rather like how it looks. There is a button near in the options along the top that pastes and saves the formatting when coming from something like Word. You could try that.
