Hi Dokuga! As some of you may remember Shogakugan asked that none of their manga images be redistributed. One of our biggest problems has been that our site is not tiny any more, and so we've slowly been getting rid of older banners, replacing them with newer banners, icon's etc.

BUT, as any of you might have noticed one thing we were unable to do until recently, was getting rid of old manga Icon's in our Image gallery. NOW though we're able to. But b/c we're going to be getting rid of so many classic, and beloved icons, I'm making this challenge.

=Anyone can enter as many times as they want to.
=Your icons need to be 100x100, 125x125 or 150x150 (something square but no bigger then 150x150) pixils no larger.
=You CAN submit them in Dokuga art gallery: icon's but all art/forum rules apply and please don't spam mainpage.
=To have your icon submitted to possibly be posted as one of Dokuga's new official icons, you need to submit it here in forums.
=You CAN use your own work!
=NO INUYASHA MANGA SCANILATIONS WILL BE ALLOWED!!!!!!

We're going to be adding about 15 new icons, from as many artist as we can find. if your talent lies in manips, this might be a great challenge for you! BUT you must be aware that any Icon submitted in this challenge will end up becoming an icon that everyone can use.

WOW! Girly, I am definitely feeling these icons. And no, I couldn't create icons to save my life.

OH! and as to how to create, if you have a program you can simply resize pics or crop them. so long as they are 150x150 or 100x100 then we're good! :3 *u*

Last year for Dokuga_Contest's second anniversary, I prevailed upon cool_spectrum to make a batch of S/K icons to help mark the milestone. She created fifty! I just checked with her, and she's willing for her icons to be used on this site provided they're properly attributed. The set can be found here - cool-spectrum.livejournal.com/252465.html

r0o can you edit posts? If you can can you see if you can make my icons not all huge line-y? I can't make them stack multiple on one line and it's driving me crazy.

Hey Fox! I can edit posts. I'd love to help but I'm not sure what you're talking about.

Do you mean you want them side-by-side as opposed to vertical?

And to everyone else who is confused about the location. It was under the wrong category so I went in and moved it. It happens to everyone at some point. Easy Fix.

Yep! I was going to try to put like.. 3 or 4 to one line and it be a big square instead of a giant vertical line. Thank you Moxy! *A*

I already have some Sesshomaru and Kagome (separately), but I do plan on trying to do a few manips.

as for making it more a box form, I dont remember if Forums lets us do that, even if there's space for it but we can see!

It is showing correctly now.

I hit the art forum to look for the icon challenge and didn't see it, so when I went back to the main it was showing in the fanfiction section (and has done so until today)

So no worries. Iw as just CONFUSED LIKE A BEE AT NIGHT.

Because Bees do not do well in the dark... and stuff...

not trying to bump this, but i did want to let everyone know that i'll be submitting the new icon's to the admin's at the beginning of 2012. This gives you about a month to get your icon's in!

If for some reason you cant get an images of your own to work right, please let let me know and I'll see what we can do to make it a workable icon. remember 100x100, 125x125, or 150x150 in size.
