I am so excited! Seeing that the weekly prompts were back is what prompted me to login again and actually continue writing which I have been putting off.

Yup, you should post to the Dokuga_Official on LJ, by leaving a comment to the Snippet Prompt's Post.

As for claiming the banner, the banner is at the bottom of the prompt post, so you can just copy the image's address and then you can put it up wherever you like. If you're not sure how, check out the Banner tutorial.

I am sorry but at the risk of being silly... I can't do it! I can't add the banner! I tried twenty times already and I think I am doing something wrong. Can someone tell if there is any other place where I can find the step by step instructions? For dummies like me? I sound like an old lady I know,. But I never used something like this! Do I go in the edit your details section and add it there? Adding the IMG scr tag? My vision is not the best so I can't understand if I should leave spaces or not! I am sorry to be a bother! Thx for your time and attention!

You can add it wherever you want. I'm assuming you want it added to your profile. So just go to your profile. Hover over "Edit" and click "Update your Profile." After that, just follow the instructions and add it either to your "About Me" section or your "Main" section.

Okay, here try this. When you are editing your profile, go to the tool bar you see above the text box (the one where you click bold, italics, et cetera) and click on "html" - it should be a small icon on the far right.

Copy and paste this directly in there (wherever you want the token and strip to be).

Try this natalia: Under the edit profile section, there should be a toolbar where you select things such as bold text and so on. Select the icon that show a small tree. A pop-up should show up. Put the link for the token in the "Image URL" field. The screenshots below show what I mean.

I'll keep this short.

How to post images to your Dokuga User Profile Page:
1 - Go to your Dokuga Profile Page.
2 - Click on the EDIT button in the upper left corner of the screen.
3 - Choose UPDATE YOUR PROFILE from the dropdown menu.
4 - Click on the ABOUT ME or the MAIN tab to add image links to banners or buttons being linked to offsite, as in outside of Dokuga, like from Photobucket.
5 - On the ABOUT ME or MAIN tab you'll see a text window. Look along the toolbar until you see the button that looks like a tree - Reira posted an image of it.
6 - A textbox will appear with empty fields like IMAGE URL, IMAGE DESCRIPTION etc.
7 - All you do is post your image url/website address into the IMAGE URL field, as shown in Reira's post.
8 - When you're done click on the INSERT button. The image, banner, or button should appear, if the URL is working, on your ABOUT or MAIN page.

Don't worry about the IMG BB Board tags unless you're planning to type everything in code by hand like HTML.

This way is easiest, and it works with images hosted offsite like on Photobucket or on Dokuga itself, i.e for banners already posted on Dokuga. The only thing that matters is the image you want to post on your Dokuga profile page must be hosted online somewhere. Trying to link an image to a website using the above guide, when that image is sitting on your PC will never work.

A home PC is not a webserver or a website. It can be set up as one with the right software, but by default it's not one. Thus the reason why anything you link to as an image must be online when you do it. Otherwise you'll either get an error message or a great big X on your profile page with no image showing.

Question! I drew a 4-koma doujinshi for the prompt since it seems that fanart is allowed but how do submit it? The form seems to lean more towards fanfics but it could totally be used for both so do I use the same form?
