As this is my first attempt at writing a fic, I'm running into difficulties getting the chapter to load. All that shows up on the page after submitting is the word "Prologue".
The actual written prologue is not there. What am I doing wrong? Please help!

Have you tried copy and pasting it in yourself, rather than hitting the 'paste from word' button?

Weird, you may want to look under the bug section of the forums and see if anyone else had that problem. Until then, or someone who knows more about this stuff than me can get back to you, since the summary says it's a drabble you may want to just retype it by hand.

It won't be a permanent fix, but at you're have your first story up while your waiting for help .

As is noted in the bug section of the forum, many people have a problem uploading to the site if they are using Internet Explorer. For some reason, this site works better if you are using Firefox as a browser. Additionally, uploading from a program like MS Word tends to work the best.

If you aren't already using Firefox, I would strongly suggest you download it and try using that to access the site. If you continue to have problems and do not have access to a word processor like MS Word, please don't hesitate to let me know and we'll go from there.

Thanks! I appreciate your help, and I did try to manually type the story in but it will not let me enter text or use any of the features of the authors tools. I can post the title and summary but not put anything into the body of the story.

I'm currently using the trial version of MS word 2010, but in the event that it is ie, I will download firefox and try that way. Thanks for the help, Wiccan!! *smile*

Finally....it worked! Thanks everyone, and especially Wiccan Methuselah for the tip on using Firefox instead of ie. My first drabble fic is now up!
