I'm trying my hand at some writing, and I was just wondering, how does everyone calculate Sesshomaru's age compared to human years?

1 year = 50 years...etc?

1 year ='s 65 years... for Sesshoumaru

Mostly based off his appearance in 'The Swords of the Honorable Ruler' beach scene, he looks to be around 16-17 yrs old in human years, yet after Inuyasha is released from the tree and he makes his first attempt it looks as if nothing as changed for him.

So I usually peg Inuyasha being 15 when pinned and with 50 years passing before he is released...is where I get 65yrs for 1yr.

Sess is supposed to be about 500-800 years old and look around 20. But Inupapa was over 4000 years and was supposed to look about 40. inuyasha is 200-250 (depending on how you count the tree time) and is supposed to appear 15. and all that math is why i dont use their ages and make up my own.
