i dunno why, but i think its because i'm tired of seeing SK's where either Kikyo or Inuyasha betray Kagome.

Does anyone have any recommendations for kagome being betrayed by the tachi as a whole, or Sango, Miroku, Or Shippo as a singular person/individual?

I can't believe I missed this story. I usually don't like stories that have a lot of sad parts, or drama, but this story was tastefully done and I found that I enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing it!

Disowned was originally written by night flame miko on FF.net here. The author discontinued it and now Aljan Moonfire has picked up the storyline (with permission) here. The basic story line is that Kagome has to seal the well and in doing so she takes the source of the well's power into herself, which is very dangerous and it continually tries to escape her. Several soul steelers come to her aid and help her control the energy by siphoning it away. This idea is very unique and fascinates me. I highly recommend both stories
