So this is my now annual fanfiction tournament where people are randomly paired up (via names being drawn from one of my favorite hats) and will using writing battle (in a friendly way) until one is the victor!
How it works is once everyone is partnered up they will be assigned a prompt that they will have to make a one-shot of in a three week period. Once both parties are finished they will be posted and readers shall read both fic's and vote by sending me a private message of who they think should advance to the next round. Whoever gets the most votes advances.
Rules/Things to know:
Naturally all one-shots should be Sess/Kag
All entries must be new and specifically for this challenge.
Once you enter I expect you to go through with this until the end. Last year many people dropped out and msyteriosuly dissapeared. This tournament can take a while because I give such a liberal amount of time for you to write your entries so please be serious about joining.
I only want one-shots as entries
All one-shots must be at least 1,500 words.
No MA entries
No posting your entry until your partner is ready so I suggest to keep in contact with one another (:
When the posting happens you must put the link in this thread, the rating of the one shot, and who you are facing off with.
And in your posted entry include a short authors note that explains that to vote they need to send a message to me TangerineDream after reading your opponents fic, so also include in this authors note who you're facing off against in your one-shot.
You can't vote for yourself or your opponent but you can vote for other people participating.
Once both one-shots have been posted a two week voting period will ensue so get people to read and vote!
No matter what have fun with this, this tournament isn't meant to be overly competative just some silly fun for us dokugian's to have
To sign up post in the thread you want to participate once you have read the rules.
When I get the appropriate amount of people I will message everyone with their partner and word/phrase/idea and I expect a reply back just to make sure everyone understands what they recieve (not that I doubt anyone will).
