I read this story a long time ago and it just suddenly came to mind now. Well, what I can remember anyway. All I remember is that somewhere in the story Kagome and Rin get turned into demons and there's a ritual (not sure if them getting turned into demons is apart of it) where blood is involved making them all blood related and family. I remember that the ritual made Shippo half Inu youkai.
I hope anyone can remember this.

They all end up in the future and Kagome's family is invited over to large Christmas party where they are all introduced to the family. Kagome had Bokuseno replanted in their yard and I think Ah-Un and Kirara are together and have Ryu-Neko babies... I think. Does that sound right?

Hmmm....I remember that it takes place in the past, and Inuyasha isn't in the picture...at least not during the ritual part. Kagome and Inuyasha may have had a falling out.
This story: The title of Lady is not given; It is earned(rated MA) is what reminded me of the one I'm looking for, so it must be similar in some way. I hope this helps.

Oh, and that part about Shippo, they asked him if he wanted to do the ritual first since it would take away the option of him taking over any kitsune family holdings or something of that nature.

This sounds familiar, during the ritual does kagome and Sesh share blood with the kids. Then lay in bed holding them because they have to keep contact with them, Sesh with Shippo and Kag with Rin. I remember that the ritual was dangerous and kagome was very week.

I think I found the one your looking for I believe your looking for "Destined for me" Again I don't remember who wrote it but it too is rated MA so reader beware.

I've looked for those two stories on here, ff.net, and spark and those I found by those names weren't the right stories.
