Hey guys, I've been conducting Google searches to find this one fanfiction that was a great read. I don't remember all the details of the fic but I remember some important plot elements. One of those things is that Kagome falls into a deep sleep, Sesshomaru builds a tomb for her on his castle grounds where Kagome's body is kept. He continues on with his life while learning lessons that help him understand love. Kagome eventually wakes up. Please help me find this incredible story.

This could be one of two stories that I can think of. The first could be the "Fuyu" series be Kanna 37. In this story she wills herself to sleep and wakes up 140 or so years later.

The second one could be Choices and Consequences by Texan Lady. In this one, she goes to sleep for 500 years.

In both stories, Sesshomaru builds a shrine for her body.

I hope this helps. They're both really good stories. The Fuyu series is complete and Choices and Consequences isn't.

Thanks so much for your suggestions but I'm not sure if either of these stories is what I'm looking for. I also remember that while Kagome is asleep Sesshomaru meets a human woman that he grows to care for but she dies, I hope that helps.

I think that one is choices and consequences, I remember that part b/c she helps him understand that he only cares for her but loves Kagome. She even comes to Kagome in a dream and helps her understand Sesshomaru's motives for not telling her that he was mated.


That story is MA.
