I'm looking for one of the older Kagome/Sesshomaru stories that used to be out there. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot to go on. It's been a while since I had the urge to read it, and I've forgotten most of the pertinent details.
All I can clearly remember is that it's one of those stories where Kagome goes home after Inuyasha betrays her with Kikyo. He didn't threaten to kill her as I recall... the whole thing was just sort of the straw that broke the camel's back. He then proceeded to lie to the others about why she was gone (and sorry I can't recall how long she was gone exactly), and would not go after her.
The crux of the story is that Sesshomaru is the one who goes after Kagome and convinces her to return. I specifically remember a scene where he was negotiating with Kagome and her mother about what it would take for her to go back while sitting in their kitchen. I believe at one point he was thinking about how he handled negotiation with lords and could surely therefore handle Kagome's mother.
Other than that I only remember bits and pieces... Kagome has panic attacks. Kouga joins the group and adopts her as an actual sister. He also beats the ever loving crap out of Inuyasha more than once.
I'm pretty sure the story was R/T or M/NC-17 rated and over 100k words, but don't quote me on that.
Any help any of you guys could give me in finding a copy of this little gem would be much appreciated. Thanks!
