I'm looking for a story where Kagome became Sesshoumaru's mate for years before she ever met Inuyasha. She knew Sesshoumaru's parents. She went further back in time (don't remember how) and had to move forward with time. At the end of the story, Sesshoumaru is waiting at the well for her to show up. She flies in at the end and the whole group realizes that Kagome is the mate that Sesshoumaru had been speaking of. There was a part where she realized that she was going to be part of the reason Sesshoumaru lost his arm and was really upset.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Another story I'm looking for is where Hojo is really Sesshoumaru. After the jewel is complete, Kagome is back in the future and Sesshoumaru reveals that he is Hojo.

Now, Kagome's even farther into the past and she must depend on a young Sesshoumaru, who has no idea of what their shared future holds. But then, neither does Kagome. Now COMPLETE! Yay!

Thanks for the suggestions, but they are not the story I'm thinking of. I wish I could remember more of the storyline.

I do remember Kagome flying in close the end of the story once the group had reached the point in time where she left them and traveled back in time. She flew in on Ah Un if I remember correctly and her friends were shocked to find out she was Sesshoumaru's mate and had been for hundreds of years. She had to live through the hundreds of years since she was unable to move forward in time. I don't remember if it was a wish on the jewel that sent her back in time or not.

I remember this, she gets sent farther back thanks to a hawk incarnation of Naraku that drops her from really high up during a fight and she falls into the well. Then Sesshoumaru's father saves her. Takes her back to their home which was at Nishi I think, there she meets Sesshoumaru for the first time and calls his name. Which surprises them because they hadn't told anyone about him.

Later as Sess escorts her back to the well or back from it I can't remember which she makes a wish on the incomplete jewel to see her friends again and it grants it.

Edit: It grants it by freezing her soul in time. So she won't age or anything.

It's one of the ones I have bookmarked but I don't know which one.

That's Once and Future Taiyoukai, I just finished reading that one KnightsofDisorder. I have a suggestion for the first one is it:

Tears of the Fallen was good but the one that Shasta is looking for is definatly Once and Future Taiyoukai then. I looked at that one but I think since I just skimmed the chapter that popped up I missed it. Oh well. I think I'm going to go read that one again, it's a been a while and a refresher would be good.

If I remember right from the story when Kagome flies she tries out different positions in flight, i.e. superman with arms held foreward, etc. but decides it is most comfortable to hold her hands behind her back... I think this also might be the same story where they adopt Rin and Shippou and use some process to turn them both into Inu youkai

Sesshoumaru also at one point gets really angry that Kagome is taking care of Rin and Shippou because he thinks she will never want to have children of her own.

Sorry Montik....the story you are describing in the first bit of your description about the flying positions is from the fanfic Bitten by Rinseternalsoul....an awesome read if anyone is interested it can be found here, also this contains adult situations so no YIM's please ...I'm sorry Shasta I don't know the fic you are looking for

You people are the best! I appreciate all of you trying to help me find the story and Jaded_butterfly was successful. It is Embracing Ice.

Now, if I could find the story where Kagome returns to the future and is shocked to find out that Hojo is really Sesshoumaru in disguise. That happens at the end of the story and I can't remember much more. It's been so long since I read it, but I would like to read it again. I don't know if it was on FanFiction.net or Dokuga. It would have to be one of those two as I haven't read any Inuyasha stories anywhere else.

I just read a story where Hojo was Rin's kid, and Kagome spends time with Sesshoumaru because Inuyasha trades her with Jaken so he can give Kikyou a living body again. Kagome runs back to the future, run's into them at some point and all sorts of other crazy things happen.
