I am looking for an AU story where Sesshoumaru and Kagome are rivals competing for a scholarship, and then become close. Sess takes her in his car somewhere, and they run out of gas and have to stay the night, so Sess uses this as an excuse to marry her, as she is the daughter of a priest (his father had a saying for this, telling him if he slept with a barmaid he should buy her a drink, but if he spent the night with a priests daughter he had to marry her).

The two grow up, get married, and constantly compete academically and in their careers. They work at a university, help with the war effort, grow old.

*SPOILERS*
Every morning Kagome did the crosswords in the newspaper before Sesshoumaru could, except one time where she couldn't find one word, and Sess got the word right. She complained that it was not a proper word. They go to work, and Sess is told Kagome had a heart attack. He looks up the word that "he made up" and proves himslef right, kills himself and leaves a note apologising but saying he had to go tell Kagome the news.
