I don't remember much:
1. Kagome mates Sesshomaru and the crescent appears on her forehead. Her crescent is green or dark green.
2. Inuyasha mates somebody else and they have crescents too. I think Sesshomaru brings them into the family (or something like this). Inuyasha mate has gold or silver crescent.
3. Kagome is almost raped or beaten buy a visiting lord and war starts.
This is what I rememeber.

any more details? Why did he take another mate? Any info on the new mate? Who was the visiting lord? Are Sango/Miroku/Shippo/Rin in it? etc. I know a few stories with plots kinda like your describing so any more details might help to narrow it down some.

Shippo and Rin are adopted by Sesshomaru and Kagome and they both have different color crescents.
I know that its annoying but I just remember the crescents well.
I read it on FFnet. If that helps.

was inuyasha's mate Sango or Ayame? did they have a random cabin scene? and by chance were there random Dragon ball Z chars in the fic, with a daughter at some point named jade? if so. it's there.

no, there wasn't. I think she remains pregnant only at the end of the fic. And Inuyasha's mate was the author's own character.
