Kept looking for this, but can't find it! My favorites is almost complete!

Kagome feels like she's not strong enough in the Feudal Era. She doesn't want to rely on her friends anymore, so she leaves the group by herself and tries to survive on her own. At first Sesshoumaru insults her, but as Kagome gets better at archery and starts to get stronger, Sesshoumaru tells her that he'll show her how to use her new sword. He takes her to the Western Castle and she kind of becomes a captain for him and solves problems in his land.

Most the story is Kagome just trying to survive, like hunting, building shelter. Sesshoumaru also peeks at her bathing in rivers.
