Kagome yells at Inuyasha and Sesshomaru about their 'pissing' contest saying something along the lines of how Inuyasha's sword looks very puny at first but then grows really large, and how Sesshomaru's brings people back to life. This obviously was taken in a crude manner. I think Kikyo was also there, laughing/grinning.

In story number one do they go on a picnic where Kagome is blindfolded and has to guess what's being fed to her? And at some point do they go shopping for camping gear (for their trip to the feudal era)?

The second story is This Mess We're In by Volpa. It isn't finished but the scene that you're looking for is in one of the later chapters.
