okay I'm looking for a fic.
It is complete.
Sess is in love with kagome but will only mate her if he can't lose her.
He finds out that his father was going to use a method, which involves a tree that can make a juice from its bark or leaves, and turn a person into a demon, only it takes a few hundred years and izayoi would have died by the time it was ready.
The journey to get the stuff needed, makes Sess lose his smell, his sight, and i think his hearing, and rely on his love for kagome to get him through to the top.
when he finally gets there, he realizes that yus while he still loves kagome, it might not have been for the best reasons, but now he really DOES love her for the right reasons
the tree tells him that he's going to be the last one to ever get the leaves, that after wards it'll vanish,
Sess ends up making it, and using Kagome's time traveling to let it brew
Kagome drinks it becomes a demon, and has like maroon, and silver hair or some kinda crazy.
