Hi everyone! Please help me out XD I'm looking for a fic where Kagome gets bitten by the alpha of Sesshoumaru's almost-extinct-guardian-weredog pack. This alpha was captured by Naraku for nefarious reasons because this pack is special and important to the house of the moon; he is hurt and on the run from Naraku when Kagome finds him I think. She tries to help him, but in the process gets bitten, and because of this she changes into one of them (I think part of the name was Garou?). Due to the fact that these wereinus are supposedly sacred and dedicated to protecting the house of the moon, since Kagome became one of them she also came under Sesshoumaru's protection.
Some more detail: At some point in the fic she was attacked by Kouga when she first turned into her wereinu form, because he didn't know she was Kagome and, supposedly again, the wolf demons and the wereinus are enemies. She escaped by jumping off a cliff, and was then found by Sesshoumaru, who was out looking for her with the wereinu pack after the alpha confessed what he'd done to Sesshoumaru. Oh, and the alpha has a sister.
