Details I can remember about the fic: Sesshomaru's court doesn't think he's as strong or capable since he lost his arm, Sessh brings Kagome to the castle (...why?),Sessh's mom is alive and likes Kagome, thinks she's clever, there is some festival or celebration in the western court Kagome recently learned the court thinks Sessh is weak and unworthy of mating so Kagome gathers a bunch of flowers before the celebration, goes in the middle of the stage grounds with Sessh with everyone watching Tells him to protect her, closes her eyes and throws the flowers in the air around her. Sessh decimates the flowers with his whip and no flower touches her and the crowd/court is awed at his magnificence (as they should be
