So I was reading Unknowingly Mated and it reminded me of a fic I’ve read a long time ago. I think the fic was similar to Unkowingly Mated but Kagome was forced to get her mating mark removed and it was an extremely painful process that took multiple days, maybe.
If anyone can figure this one out with such little info I’d really appreciate it:)

I read a story like this several years ago, not sure if it is the same one you are talking about and I can't remember the name either. I do remember that she had to get her mark removed bc the youkai counsel wanted Sesshomaru to mate a demoness. I also remember that Kagome was pregnant and they didn't know. I hope that helps.

It wasn’t that one sadly. There were no modern conveniences. For the scene where kagome was force to remove the mating mark I think it was said that the reason the removal hurt only the females was because it was their fault that the mark was being removed in the first place. She was also strapped down for the removal of the mark in another building or a dungeon.

I believe we are thinking of the same story, I hope we can figure it out. It was so good. It's been so long since I read it. I want to say it was complete and MA. I'm pretty sure Toga was alive in it. I also want to say that the pup survived and everything turned out in the end, but they had several hurdles to cross. Hopefully that all still sounds familiar to you also and maybe can help find it.

Is it Toga that removes kagome mate mark ?

If I'm remembering correctly it was the council who removed it. Toga was also extremely upset about the whole thing.

Was she a maid?? I know if a story she was a maid and she slept with Sesshomaru and they mated unknowingly.
