Hello, I'm searching for a fic where
I think it was set in China...
Kagome finds an injured Sesshoumaru and hides him under her house. He's a Japanese soldier for the imperial Army, maybe a captain or someone of higher rank. She secretly nurses him back to health.
Kouga's also in the story. He's like the head of their village and tries to court Kagome but she declines his advances.
In the end, the Japanese invade them and Sesshoumaru reunites with his battalion. In order to -thank- Kagome for her help, he assigns her to a unit (medical?) which ensures that she doesn't get raped or anything. When the villagers (and Kouga) found out, they spat at her and even called her a whore.
That's about it. They don't get together or anything XD
