So, I'm looking for a story where Kagome was falling from the sky (I think) towards a lake and i think Sesshomaru caught her or they both fell into the water...I'm also not sure but they might have been mistaken to be kami or something by the witnesses...

Oh I know what story you're talking about! I just can't remember the name. While I'm sure the story above is a good read, I do know that it's not the one you're looking for. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
