Since I am not feeling well I am going to keep this simple.
Kagome works for Inuyasha.
Kagome thinks she is about to get promoted.
Inuyasha promotes Kikyo (new employee that he hired recently and is sleeping with) instead, though he promised Kagome the position.
Kagome quits and goes to work with Sesshomaru.
I am pretty sure I know more, but my brain ran off when my stomach started throwing a temper tantrum. Please help me find this story.

Kagome has been working her tail off to keep other companies from taking over Inuyasha's company.
After Kikyo was promoted Kagome quit. She goes to work for Sesshomaru's company.
I think she makes a deal with Sesshomaru to have him hire her. I think she uses the downfall of Inuyasha's company as an advantage.
Kagome was mad about the promotion because Inuyasha promised the position to her. He made a comment about her getting a different position when someone else retired. (20 years keeps popping into mind for some reason.)
Kagome and Inuyasha were not dating.
