so this was a really awesome and another long fix I once read, but unfortunately cannot seem to find.

Premise was that Kagome, sango, miroku, shippo and kirara were all captured and tortured by naraku. The girls were released/escaped? after they were forced to watch their love interests get murdered and they flee to sesshoumarus land for help. Kagome joins his pack but sango doesn't (I think she started her new demon hunting village), and there's a slow burn between the top sess and kags.

They defeat naraku and then there's a mess with sesshoumarus mother and the Meido stone, and at some point Kagome learns to make a cloud like sesshoumarus.
