I don't remember much but I think it was a pretty long, epic story. I do remember that Sesshoumaru had Kagome living with him at the castle, and he had various relatives and he was teaching Kagome about the various types of Inuyoukai for her protection. He was teaching her about what the various colors of their stripes meant and there was one relative in particular that he warned her on (i think) because their poison could stop a person's heart.

I know that one of his relatives...I think his name started with a B, he was like a seer...

Does this sound familiar? This is a very rough description...

I know I've read this one, just before New year's, too. I don't think it's Most Precious Possession.

I seem to remember the heart-stopping poison (black markings?) having been used and Kagome was freaking out because someone with that color stripes had attacked Sesshoumaru? I can't find it with all my googling skills, which is infuriating! I swear I've been speed-reading through my favorites trying to find it but no luck.
