what I can remember is that sesshomaru dies for a time leaving his young pup to be lady of the west. Kagome protects the pup after Inuyasha refuses to care for the pup. Kagome bring Sesshomaru back to life by wishing on the jewel. Kagome is then Invited to the western palace.
