I'm in a bit of a sober mood tonight, so can anyone recommend a heart-pounding emotional fic that didn't end with Kagome and Sesshoumaru being together or happy together? Similar to Oroyukae's Broken Promises?

I'm 18+ so I can do MA. And I do prefer completed, if possible, but I'll take anything at this point.

Shadyminion writes beautiful angst stories. I wish she'd update her other fics.

I'm in a conundrum... I have one I wrote... since I don't read stories of this category often, that fits but doesn't. They end up together but it's more complicated.

Either way, I'll leave you to judge.
