Oh my gosh Sesshomaru! what a way to treat the lady who takes such good care of your little brother. I love the progression of this chapter and how Inuyasha becomes a integral part of Kagomess life and cares for him. It was very heart warming. A new story! And a wonderful, angst filled one at that. You know how much I adore my angst. THE FEELS! And though this is just your first chapter to this new story, you already put me on the feel train. Meh heart! Sweet, sweet torment. You make me empathize with your characters so EASILY! How can I NOT adore you and your words? Impossible.

I can really relate to this Kagome, being anti-social myself, and wanting to keep busy to stave off feelings of loneliness. No one likes to feel blue, so if working helps you stay away from such moods, more power to you. And this is kind of ironic… Today is Mother’s Day (in the States, at least) and your write of a mother, but not the type celebrated on social media. This mama is a highly emotionally disturbed and physically violent one… It’s hella sad but all too true because not all mama’s are what is portrayed on the telly.

And I bet that is a lil’ Inuyasha! And he’s hurt! Kudos to Kagome for not only ignoring the pain of his bite to comfort him but not running away in fear upon realizing that the boy she took in is less than human. You write as though demons are not known in this modern age you’ve created, so I am loving this angle. Kagome will probably soon learn that it is not just humans who walk the earth, huh?

Can’t wait for more!
