Inu papa is a cruel old youkai here... But I believe his loyalty will remain with Kagome and not his 'alpha', who deameaned and belittled him while growing up.  He said it himself, Sesshoumaru is not following his instincts as a Inu Youkai (him befriending Koga, a wolf).

Aww, poor Seshomaru. good thing Miroko is getting books, and Seshomaru is smart. Hopefully, mom comes into the picture so they can put his dad in his place.

Just when you think that your opinion of Sesshomaru's father can't get any lower... prejudiced bigot. If he had fostered a proper pack himself, then Sesshomaru would not have had need to be part of the ookami pack. Or, if he was capable of truly fostering pack, he would have no real objection to it. And then there's the implication that Sesshomaru's father doesn't trust anyone, at all; that only makes me pity him. 

These latest chapters have me wondering about Sesshomaru's mother: I wonder if she was threatened/intimidated away from Sesshomaru—or threatened/intimidated into having him. Would she want to have anything to do with Sesshomaru's life? Is she still alive? Is she of the same mind as Sesshomaru's father regarding Sesshomaru's instincts, emotions, and friends? I look forward to reading whatever you decide to tell us about her...

Looove it! I really love that we get to a see a Sesshoumaru who hasn't always been the big dog so to speak and isntead had to learn his own instincts. It's a wild ride to be sure, but definately enjoyable. I am wondering if all of Sango's family members holw to same prejudices she does as well, especially as I'm curious if Kohaku and Rin will be present in this story, and if they are, what their stances on this whole thing will be.

Also surprised that for once Naraku isn't the one being the prick XD It's amusing when him not being the main bad guy happens (at least for the moment since you like to pulls twists ^.~), it's easy to see how it COULD happen, though him being friends with Hojo says a lot XD
