I look like a slow reader but it's just that I don't have that much free time and I love to analyze things my way before writing a comment....so...about this chapter..I feel like it's important the impression I'm getting. I mean, while reading this particular chapter I sort of grasped something about the pace you set for the whole story. It's bringing me back to when I was watching an anime and I would have waited for any single (even the smallest) detail - like, you know, a slight smile appearing, or shoulders getting closer...or two hands touching - those little things that would mean the world in terms of progession of a relationship and would be as much meaningful as a kiss. In short, the intimacy of their touching - increasing while the story is progressing - ties deeply with the inner turmoil of their feelings and seems to overcome the need for words. Even a talkative girl like Kagome chooses to convey her emotions through that warm and tight grasping of his hand. And he feels her. Going even beyond his comprehension he ends up feeling concerned about her. Hope that bad feeling won't be ...well, too bad. Fingers crossed. 

Enough of my ramblings now...LOL! :)

"Although Sesshomaru kept his stoic expression, he felt a hand squeezing his heart."

And just like that he also realizes that he got to know her but indeed doesn't know much about her own life. So many steps ahead but a huge step back on the path of a possible romantic relationship. I get that Inuyasha is coming. 

What I am loving the most about this chapter is the bit about Kagome literally consuming Sesshy's thoughts. Plus I like really much knowing that Kouga seems to know very well his son.

I just finished reading this from start to finish and I absolutely loved it! ! The pace you set the story at was excellent, I loved how you had major points in the story i.e Naraku, Inuyasha,  but didn't dwell on these and drag them out unnecessary. Your writing style is amazing and I love how you made everything believable but still keeping Sesshomaru and Kagome true to character. Thank you for a wonderful and brilliant story! 

And here's the beauty of feeling each other's emotional connection through their first phisical connection. Yes, she is worried about him and she wants desperately to believe him, he understands her worries and wants to comfort her. Then the phisical touching. A tender gesture which ends up with her finally relaxing and with him...well...Feeling. :)  Perfect.

The plan was giving Sesshoumaru cold shoulders until his eventual apology? LOL...she couldn't even wait more than 3 days to snap at him. However he was so confused and bothered by her behaviour to the point of totally ignoring Narakus's threat and dismissing it as irrelevant stuff. That speaks out loud of Sesshoumaru's priorities and I absolutely adore that.

" 'Apologize?' Sesshomaru thought, he had never considered this is what was needed."

A year and a half of getting to know her, 3 days of indifference and still he's totally clueless about what she needs, and an apology is so not something he would ever do, though his apology comes nonetheless cause he realizes he cannot stand the thought of her avoiding him more. I absolutely love that. :)

...and so Naraku enters the stage. I think I can already start getting worried about that. 

I love how Kags stood up for Sesshoumaru. She is indeed his loyal friend. I mean....snapping that way without caring about the possible consequences and maybe risk losing the contract? That is so Kagome and Kagome is the most loyal character in the InuyashaVerse so I think your portrayal of her is really fitting. 

I happened to like also Totosai's reaction. He seems a minor character so far but you managed to give him traits and personality. 

It looks like our Lord is allowing himself to show emotions when Kagome is involved and that is perfect. Teasing Kagome AND laughing at the end of the chapter? Priceless. 

Friends! Love the build up!! :) ( Would never want to be in his secretary's place tbh..LOL! ) One more thing I really appreciate is the way the definition at the beginning of every chapter ties perfectly with the ending. It gives the feeling of kinda knowing what to expect but at the same time it's exciting to read ahead and see how you're going to get there. Hopefully what I'm saying makes sense..;). Anyway good job and keep it coming!!!

Yes! I think Sesshy is in character! He looks his usual cold,arrogant,calculating self on the exterior but we know something inside him is changing thanks to you giving us his POV. I like your story! :)
