Excellent start for your first drabble, angel! I admit that I love angst and the thought of Sesshomaru being at his most vulnerable and leaning on Kagome tugs at my heartstrings. I also feel for Kagome since she has to deal with Inuyasha's rejection and I imagine she must feel responsible deep down for not being able to help Rin even if she could nothing to prevent it. I'm sure she's feeling as if she atones by following Sesshomaru and mending both their wounds by doing so.
I'm looking forward to seeing where you take this lovely tale of shared anguish and compassion. :)
