P.S. I have to say that this is an intriguing idea, but I'm confused on the ages of the characters. Kagome has a grown up son and has attested that some decades have passed since his birth. That would make her at best in her late 30's - probably early 40's - since she must have been an adult to take sperm from a sperm bank and her son would still be in his ealry 20's. Unless, you have some explanantion for this planned in the next chapters - like say he marured quickly or she stopped aging after the birth (though, she doesn't seem to know about youkai judging by her reaction to when the lawyer's eyes changed color for a moment, so I find it unlikely. If that's what had happened then she would have researched and eventually found out about youkai.). In that case, ignore my rant. Or, is she actually around the ages I described and you simply haven't mentioned it yet? Hm, cougar Kaggie - not bad, not bad at all! LOL (now I have an idea for an older Kagome..T.T I blame you for this!)
