Well, Shi-566, the 566 means Kon. It's the numbers assigned to that number on a phone. and I'm guessing Kuro is Naraku.

First of all, let me say Thank You for taking the time to gift this fic, it was really unexpected. I am pleasantly surprised at how much I like it so far. It has a different kind of feel to it. I do wish I was more familiar with the Darker than Black series though. So far so good, that's for sure.
I look forward to the next installment.

  This is quite interesting. I like the anticipation the story is building, giving nothing away but drawing one in. :)

Regarding code names, hmm, from a first look this is wat I interpret ::

SHI-566 --- stands for "Shi"kon or Higura"shi". 566no idea

Kuro - meaning dark must be Naraku + oily voice :)

Shiro - Shippo likely simply coz this guy sounds like a restless male same as ship :P

Kisa - Sango/ Kirara, kisa means kitty so thts the only link to kirara. The character sounds a bit like sango coz shes worrying over SHI-566's well being :)
