Okay, Lord Rochester and Sess 'Lording' over everybody I can handle!  Thanks for addressing.  Another awesome chapter.  I wonder who Sess and Mr. Poole are protecting?

So the fairytale is about Sesshoumaru and Kagome, Keep it coming.

So Hikaru gives us a telling remark of what Sesshomaru and Kagome may be.   Exciting!  I do wonder just how he was injured though.   I hope to see the games Sesshomaru plays come to an end soon as he says.   And good on Kagome for scolding him for his thoughtless teasing.  

Can't wait to see more :)

A quick update! Mr. Poole is causing too much trouble, but Sesshomaru said his presence is needed. I agree with Kagome that Sesshomaru needs to stop playing games lol! He's confusing the poor girl.

How intriguing!   I'll admit I've never read Jane Erye, so I have nothing on this piece to compare it too, but I find it fascinating the way Sesshomaru goes about trying to get a sense for Kagome's feelings.  

The mystery behing Hikaru's appearance makes one wonder just what other secrets Sesshomaru hides.  Hope to find out soon!

Another great chapter, I like how you use old English when writing, it's very authentic and it helps the flow of the story. Sesshomaru was the gypsy? I was so confused on that part, he's very sneaky but I liked it lol. I wonder who is this Hikaru and why did Sesshomaru turned pale as if he saw a ghost, does this person have the power to take away who Sesshomaru is? Soo many questions and I gotta wait till your next update.

And a treat it was.... At first I thought... seriously Sesshoumaru? You'll marry another? But towards the end I thought... his love for her is great and he knows something that she is not yet aware of... nor do we... the audience. I am quite proud of your take on this fic.  I've never read the book in which you refer this story but I find myself wanting to partake in something as beautiful as the words you have written here. I encourage you to chase your dreams as a writer... capture them and never let go! You'll do well for yourself in the world of literature... and it is writer's like yourself that make me elated that I take a fancy in my indulgences such as reading. I eagerly await your next chapter!

You are doing great justice to the story you are spinning a tale from. Each day I am excited to see an update from you. Keep up the great work!

What a wonderful story. This is the best read I've had in a while. 

I've enjoyed this story immensely even though a bit divergence from the Jane Eyre novel would be wonderful. Anyways, all these mix signals Sesshomaru is giving to Kagome is confusing her, and Miss Blanche should just go away, but during that time period, nobles married nobles, and I feel bad for Kagome since she is harboring feelings for him and she knows that she is just the governess. It's like a mix of star-crossed lovers but instead of rivaling family, it's social hierarchy.

I think there is more to that story about the fairy than previously stated, like Sesshomaru knows the true implication behind it. I'm really curious on that merchant Gancomer, and the fact he insisted on being called 'father'. It's a mystery and I'm loving it! :)

Sesshoumaru thinks the fairy tale is about Kagome, it could be about her, them he can marry her. Finally Sesshoumaru and Kagome kiss, the Colonel had to come ruin the moment by interrupting them. Keep it coming.

How interesting.  Miss Blanche seems to dislike the attention Kagome receives.   What in the world does Sesshomaru think to marry her??   I liked the tale of the fairy princess, I wonder if it holds a deeper connection to Kagome than she realizes?  

With Sesshomaru taking care of Kagome's further employment should be wed....I find myself hoping he isn't planning to set up as his mistress.  I think that may truly break her.

I'm not a fan of Jane Eyre although I'm really enjoying this story. I hope that it strays off the original plot a bit more though. My only hang up with this adaptation is that Sess' name is Mr. Rochester...every time I read 'Rochester' it breaks up the flow and takes me right out of the story. Kagome retained her name, it's just odd that he is Rochester.  But that's just me.

I love the way you write -- it's atmospheric, foreboding and your dialogue is perfect. Great work.

Sigh, I so love this story.  It is so unlike anything else I have read in a long while.  I am drawn to all the characters, and they are so well described and thought out.  It is romantic and tragic to a fault.  LOVE IT.

Poor Kagome, I feel so sad for her, like a wilted flower.. :( Anyways, I love the plot and I'm eagerly waiting for the next update. I esp. love the way you pen down the mannerisms and language of the 19th century (guessing so) so perfectly!

 Mayhap you'll be a dear and update it today again. (fingers crossed ^_^)
