I lost sleep over this story but I have to say it was a happy exchange. I just couldn't stop reading, I loved the story. =) The character development and the building of the pack bonds made for a very special read. Thank you for sharing this with all of us who love this site.

I haven't been able to stop reading for hours in order to finish up... you've had my insides completely wound up for hours now! (and now I have to figure out how to calm down enough to sleep tonight)

While I was reading, I really, really appreciated your notes at the end of each chapter that explained the various kitsune/youkai/folktale references thoughtout the story. They really helped me to understand the dialogue and flow of the story, without needing to break up the flow of the story to include those kinds of explanations.

lol! Sesshomaru's "compliment" on Kagome's hair had me burst out in laughter! Poor guy, he needs to come up with more compliments; he has used this one too often. *snickers*

Inari's comment and Inuyasha's reaction at the end of the chapter had me burst out laughing. Awesome!

I do like what you've done with Inuyasha. Even though the story isn't focussed on him, you've still shown how circumstances have caused him to change and mature... and find a new place where he can shine as a result.

I feel for Kagome through this. In an earlier chapter you commented that the blessings for Sesshomaru, Rin, and Kagome were obvious. I see it more like the blessing is obvious for Shippo: he gets a mother in his own form. It is much less obvious for Kagome, because she doesn't have peace within herself anymore, but she had it before. You've done a really excellent job of expressing Kagome's mindset in this chapter, and the idea that different is not necessarily better or worse (in terms of the differences between human, hanyou, and youkai).

I love how you are writing Sesshomaru's honor and responsibility in this story. It really stood out in this chapter because instead of Sesshomaru just arranging for a teacher and then letting Kagome and Shippo go, he is making the effort to learn more about Kitsune so that he can better provide for and protect them. So few stories that I've read have that aspect of Alpha in them; most just make use of the dominance and power aspects of it. I love that you are showing the full circle of responsibilities.

The first six chapters - Kagome being overwhelmed and learning to adapt to her new instincts and powers - is fascinatingly well written! It is going to be interesting to see how she reacts now that she has come back to herself :)

I adored this story. Very fun and exceptionally well written.

This was epic. I loved the story and the character development. You did an amazing job of creating a scope of time for your story that didn't in any way feel weighted or slow. Very impressive.

"OH NO!"

Was my first thought when I saw the chapter list included "epilogue".  This story is too good to end!  It is so beautifully written I could read it forever.  I really love all the details, the hints you wrote throughout and had a lot of fun guessing.  

When the legendary white kitsune was brought up, and that Kagome's spirit being so stretched by Yukiko's youki, I guessed it meant that it might have changed her from red to white and gained extra tails from it. (since Yukiko is a white dog of immense power)  I also thought perhaps there would be a battle scene where she transform into her fox form to find it had enlarged her normally small fox form to a large white fox form...  But I didn't guess that one of their offspring would be a white fox!  :P

It's been a most amazing read, and definitely one for the favorites for re-reading!  I look forward to reading future writing from you!

My only complaint is that I'll never know what color kitsune Kagome would be upon ataining her last tail! The speculation will kill me 8<

What a ride!! I am so glad that the story found its ending after all the twists and turns. You have done an amazing job taking us on this adventure. My funny bone was especially tickled when Kagome says the title of the story. It all wraps up quite nicely and with a few tricks up it's sleeve. I can't wait to see what you come up with next time :)

I have mixed feelings about this. I'm ecstatic that they finally bit the bullet, but GD the story is done.... Sniffle.  Well it was amazin either way. 

I loved it! You should do a onshot or something where Kagome gets to 'meet' her parents! This was the best fanfiction that I have read where Kagome becomes a youkai. It is a very hard topic to write!
