Good story but it's the definition of a sloooooooow burn. Kagome is so weak, which is realistic, and irritating at the same time. Sesshomaru is like a glacier, immovable. It's hard to see the little that he's melted. Truthfully I wouldn't want this universe's Kagome to stay with sesshomaru, her entire existence hinges on her daughter. There's literallyi nothing else. 

Well Glory Alleluia!!! Finally!! Is this the end of the story? It sounds like they have finally worked through all their personal issues. I'm doing a happy dance for them. 

Always two steps forward, one back with these two. But there is progress, even baby steps. 

Really good chapter. Poor baby, those two are so tense she is feeding off of it. They need to both just breathe. 

Okay.... So... I cant wait any longer for the next chapter. I must read the intimate scene; don't do this to me...aaaaaahhhhhh :). Please update sson, I loved it!!

Gawd i love your writing skills! They give me life. I love what you did with their development from beginning to now. This journey that they are taking has finally got them to this point and i am so proud! Can't wait when they know exactly where they stand with each other.

Woo so intense I love your story so much! 

It's so frustrating to see them dance around the topic.

I suppose nearly dying has altered Kagome but she's barely even a shell of her former self. She's so insecure and, yeah I'm going to say it, pathetic. Pathetic and infuriating.

The guy she married is not human and was famous for being cold and poker faced. But that was 500 years ago. If she can forgive and give second chances to folks who tried to kill her or wronged her in the past, why can't she do the same for Sesshomaru? Why? 

I get so exhausted with her dilly dallying ways. At least she took the incentive to reach out to him in the end. Finally. 

I wonder what would happen to Sesshoumaru if he was presented to a little jealousy? Would he know then, if he loved her and would not want to let her go without, showing he really DID, indeed love her? This going back and forth of the what if's (LOL) is going to make HIM have a nervous breakdown! I don't think Kagome at this point would settle for another, but, Sesshoumaru would be pushed to maybe tell her more. I just feel sad for both them. Okay, another fine chapter. You never let me down :)

I am finally reviewing this story, as I don't think I have in the past.  I have to say I really enjoy your writing style, and how in-depth you get into the feelings, emotions, and inner thoughts of Kagome and Sesshomaru.  It is refreshing and doesn't feel like it's dragging out the story to a neverending point.  The time jumps when it becomes a new chapter helps with that a lot.

I can completely understand how Kagome doesn't want to deal with her feelings towards Sesshomaru.  All she's received from him upon her declarations was silence or non-acknowledgement.  Both of those can easily be seen as rejection, especially to someone with low self-esteem.

Now, Sesshomaru is finally recognizing that he's feeling something.  He's not sure what, but his attempt to understand is not being helped by Kagome because of her prior experiences of his psuedo-rejection of her own feelings before.  This chapter emphasizes that point quite well, when she tells him "What do you want me to say?"  And her thoughts about why does it have to be brought up again when she expects him to just reject her feelings for him once more.  Sesshomaru is going to have to figure it out, and I know that even if he admits what he's feeling to her she's not going to believe it initially.  I expect more drama as he tries to understand what is going on with his own emotions.

I re-read part of the story to remind myself how things got to where they are before reading the last three chapters you have posted in the past three months.  I am so glad to see you are going to finish this story!  I look forward to the upcoming final chapters and see how things get resolved, if at all.  Thank you again! :)

ACK! These two really need to learn how to communicate. One would think after all this time together, they would be better. Sigh...slow learners. Nice chapter. I'm hoping the feisty Kags start to shine through a bit. 

Ugh.. I wish they'd figure out their love for each other already! It's so frustrating. They both want to protect each other and be there for each other, what's that if not love? Meh. =/
