I love how in depth you show each characters personality and feelings.  They are written vibrantly and I truly feel I know them. Great job!!  As far as Kouga goes it is obvious he truly cares for Kagome as a friend and romantically. I believe if he saw that she really cared for and still loved Sesshomaru, even if she doesn't see it, then he would gracefully pull back and tell her why. I think she needs Kouga as a supportive friend as well as needs his male perspective on the whole situation. He could remain just friends while subtly driving Sesshomaru crazy by being her confidant.

I don't know what Sesshomaru has planned in regards to Kagome but it had better be big if he wants her to accept his apology! (not that Kagome would agree with that statement *humph*)
