Kagome's nervousness is something nice to see since some stories just simply make them know they'll be accepted with no worries. This is a nice change ^-^ I'd just like to point out a small mistake you made: "she didn’t see the approaching visitors- Sesshomaru and Kagome" I'm guessing you meant Rin here. Anyways, keep up the great writing!

It reminds me of something that happened to me. My hubby and I spent the day at the lake with some friends. We had been tubing and I was tired so I decided to stay on shore with my friend Paul while my husband took Paul's wife Sarah back out for another go. So me and Paul were watching the kids swim and laughing at Sarah trying to hang on to the tube while my husband drove the boat faster trying to sling her off. Anyway I happened to look down at the water line and there was a small water snake so of course I freaked out. We managed to scare the snake away from where the kids were, but his young daughter asked her daddy what it was and he calmly told her that it was a water worm so she wouldn't get scared.
