I love this fic. I get doubts too when I'm writing my drabble story because it's really easy to let the story run away and go in a different direction than you intended, but I think yours is great!

I remember you saying that the humor would be back soon, which is nice, but I also like that you took a break from it for a while! Having both good and bad really works for this story, since Sesshomaru is so serious and Kagome is so bubbly. They are opposites attracting so it only makes sense that you have both serious and bubbly moments!

Hey, that happens sometimes.  I usually go back and re-read through my longer fics as I write them, so that I don't forget things, leave plot holes, or forget where I was heading with things.

And Kagome continues to show that she understands Sesshoumaru. Hopefully she will recognize her own feelings when it comes to the priestess. I mean I can't see Sesshoumaru letting anything bad happening to Kagome/his slave. And now the priestess knows that and knows that Kagome would do the same for her doggie. I can't wait to see what happens when there is another showdown with the witch :)

Uh-oh what's that unsettling feeling? I wonder if she's just a little jealous or if it's her instincts telling her not to trust this woman. I'm a little wary of her myself; she miraculously managed to get away, just *happens* to know exactly where the bad guy is AND is willing to travel with them there?? Hmmm, maybe I'm just too suspicious XD

I wonder what story she will tell them that they don't already know from the Northern Lord. Kagome learning how to use a short range weapon from Sesshoumaru should be interesting. Im looking forward to it and to seeing what happens next :)

Is Sesshomaru WEARY of giving Kagome a real sword, or WARY? I'm thinking it should be the latter.
