Yeah I know how it feels. Pets are my life and it really really hurts when they leave. But like my mom said, wherever they are now, they wouldn't want you to be sad. The fact that they are so missed means that they have had a happy life. 

Losing pets you grew up with is very devastating. I cried longer at the loss of my first pet then I did my first boyfriend. Enjoy the trip to Spain. Send us a postcard? And we eagerly await your updates when you get a chance to write again!

I'm so sorry about your dog. And I understand whole-heartedly. We put down our Buddy-baby of almost 8 years about a month ago. ): He had the worst kidney cancer the vet had ever seen. I am so sorry and completely understand how it feels. Frankly, don't push yourself for updating. Don't think you have to smile or be strong. It sucks like nothing else to lose such a close family member. Cry and say goodbye, but remember after he goes to sleep, he'll wake up pain free. That's what's been getting my family through this past month.

LOL, that ending was hilarious, Hojo being delusional about who's getting married is crazy. Sesshomaru will kick his flirty behind if he keeps hitting on Kagome so strongly.
