Kagome was sitting very still, or rather trying to, at any rate. The last thing that she wanted was to awaken the massive white dog that lay slumbering before her.

She was still just a little bit bewildered as to how she had landed herself in this particular situation. Somehow, while she had been sitting on one of the balconies of the castle, she had managed to get herself kidnapped by a giant dog.

‘What kind of princess gets kidnapped by a dog? I can’t even get my own kidnapping right!’ Once again, she had failed as a proper princess.
