I'm realizing that at this point in the story, I'm beginning to kind of hate Kagome. I really don't like her so far...not that I don't love your story, but so far Kagome is definitely not my cup of tea and I feel bad for Sesshoumaru.

I wish you could have heard my squeal of abject delight when I saw you had posted a new chapter. I'm so excited about their relationship moving forward. As much as I love the past chapters, I freak out when you post a new "present" chapter. His behavior is so adorable, and you can tell he's all nervous about getting things right. I'm shocked he didn't try to sneak in some smoochin', but I expect he'll fit it in before the day is out. Though his time has to be running out, so I imagine Kags has to make a decision fairly quickly. I can't wait for the scene where she tells him yes, since I'm sure he'll about have a coronary.

You updated!!!!! YES!!!!!! oh how I have longed for an update for this story. I am so very happy right now. lol. This chapter was really hilarious. I mean Sessy and Kags embarrasing themselves by telling the other about their dreams. Gosh if that happened to me I wouldn't know to either be speechless, laughing my butt off, or embaressed beyond belief. I also have to agree with Bank and the others, Inuyasha not freakin out was very surprising indeed. But he is a good friend, and has excepted it, thats so sweet of him.

I couldnt find any errors in this update, even is there were any I was so engrossed that I probably missed every single one, buts thats ok because this story is so good that any errors are insignificant. Cant wait for the next update!!!

Just throwing this out there because the idea struck me as I was reading, I fully and completely volunteer to be the little person who sits on Sesshoumaru's shoulder and smacks him in the head when he starts being stupid. I do, however, request the abilities of invisibility. And perhaps invincibility....

Ugh! Just like to say, this whole situation makes me pity Sesshoumaru in the most frustrating, slap-you-upside-the-head-until-you-stop-being-an-idiot type of way. Insert multiple facepalms here

All right, Kouga's condom boquet was the funniest thing I have read yet in a fanfic.  It was perfect in every facet and nuance.  I had a lot of ideas about this chapter, plus I intended to make sure to tell you how much I love this story, and how awesome it is, and how grateful I am that you found time to update, but I read that little vignette and I am left with nothing, except the image of Kagome pummeling Kouga with a bouquet of condom flowers.

but this was really really cute, but poor kagome it must be hard to only get gifts from admirers and not your boyfriend...but this was really cute cant wait for you to update again, hopefully its soon [[cough*cough]]

Man, as I read this story, I feel more and more sorry for Sesshoumaru.  Hope for a new chapter soon!

I started reading this story because it won an award on Dokuga, but as I'm going through it, I find myself very angered at all the characters in this story. There isn't one character that I like. Kagome is cruel to Sesshomaru and is a bit slutty (or way too naive?) with respect to her behavior with her 'guys'. And the guys act like she is a perfect being/ angel. They all fell in love with her at first sight. And her singing bothers me as if she is SO perfect and innocent when really all I see is flaws and fakeness. Her 'guys' are totally blind to her shortcomings (and their own) and they act like they're under a spell (is Kagome an enchantress?), not participating in a real friendship/relationship. And sorry to say but there are way too many sexual undercurrents within the 'friend' relationships (especially when Kagome and Bankotsu were younger + Inuyasha's jealousy + too much touching + extreme possessiveness esp against Sessh). Also, every other female (with the exception of Inuyasha's mother) is made to look extremely negative and shallow (i.e. sluts, whores, disrespectful, valley girls, etc) just to make Kagome look perfect, when in fact I feel that none of the females in this story are relatable nor truly realistic. Lastly, I feel so sorry for Sesshomaru and I often find myself angry that he doesn't realize Kagome's faults and actually chase a girl with real worth and compassion. Kagome (and her friends) has (or "have") been progressively getting bitchy-er while Sesshomaru has been getting more ... well, a more like-able character but still pathetic overall. I am bothered that Sesshomaru is the victim in this story. He is utterly pathetic, wimpy, etc.

Also, I feel like ALL characters in this story are very "out-of-character". But they doesn't necessarily have to be, so thats not a big deal.

Nevertheless, I do recognize all the effort the author put in and the style and way it was written is truly commendable. In fact, SunsetMiko is one of my favorite authors. All the stories (especially the Oneshots) are SO good. And its clear she is truly talented. I just don't know what happened with this particular story.

I wrote this review because my above complaints really bothered me, and I'm wondering: is there a twist that changes all my complaints in the future chapters? If there isn't, should I continue reading the story if it really bothers me so much? I'm on chapter 11 now, but I really do hate leaving things uncompleted especially if its going to be good :(

Anyways, I hope people take this as constructive criticism and not as "hate mail" and I'm sure someone as talented and intelligent as SunsetMiko will understand my complaints given her other fabulous stories.

I want to let you know that I thoroughly enjoy this story. The plot is different than any fanfiction of this couple that I've ever read. I've been reading fanfics about this couple for at least five years and I can't think how long it's been since I've had the pleasure to read a story that has me anxiously awaiting the next installment.
