i have to stop say oh god, i cant stop myself. Im glad its not entirely au, in that she was a part of the feudal era and knew Sesshoumaru before. it will probably help her. I loved how you described the fifth floor; the way the doctor spoke about her having all thos personel with her and her reaction, just perfect. And the look in his eyes, poor thing. i have to see how this ends.

Oh my god, what an introduction. I feel so sorry for him, his kids, his mate, his home, definitely enough to drive anyone mad. I just hope it gets better for him.

I wonder if he'll somehow figure out she's been having the same dreams... and what his reaction will be...

Wow...I have truly found a masterpiece here.  I actually teared up while reading this.  Sesshomaru's situation is so tragic...I hope Kagome can help him eventually.  I'm wondering about her boss and if there is more to him than we know! 

As awful as it sounds, I actually wonder if it wasn't a little selfish of Kagome for saving his life after the attempted suicide.  Sesshomaru's life consisted of nothing but horrible pain and loneliness which he lived in day after day, and yet she brought him back after he could have crossed over and been with his family in the afterlife.  Of course, were it someone I loved, I would probably try to save them, too no matter what.  I think we're all a bit selfish in that way.

I also like the way you describe Sesshomaru's mate and his children.  It's nice to know that at one time in his life, he did experience happiness and have a family.  I think that the manga cut Sesshomaru short on the deal.  They showed Kagome and Inuyasha together, but what about Sesshomaru and his life?  I'd hate to think that he'd be stuck in the company of a warty toad forever.

But...I'm RAMBLING! Sorry.  I LOVE your story.  Please add more chapters soon!!  I am anxious to read the next chapter.  Thanks for sharing this!

Great chapter...in a way I feel more sorry for Kagome.Now Sesshoumaru placed his mate's necklace on Kagome and in some way (at least to me) it is almost like the Kikyo/Kagome situation where she was always being compared to Kikyo. I just hope Sesshoumaru just doesn't see her as a replacement for his lost mate. That Kagome and his dead mate are the same, unless they are something to that.....now, that would be interesting. Dog-gon-it!! Now, I went and confused myself...my head hurts from thinking this one out......@_@..... There is so much more to this necklace stuff, i'll bet.

Oh, I just love this story, I so look forward to your updates, I'll have to re-read to see if I missed something. I am still very untrusting of that other doctor, sometimes I feel like he is a youkai too that knows how to hide his powers, but, I could be wrong.

Wow! Another great chapter...if you struggled, it didn't show. You've really done an excellent job with your story. No pressure, right?

I also wanted to add that it's so sweet how you always apologize for how tardy your chapters are. I think most of us understand that real life takes precedent and inspiration doesn't always come easily. While this reader would love to see the next chapter because the story is riveting, I don't mind waiting for a good thing. 

Hopefully the next chapter won't be as difficult for you to write and will just flow.

oh. my. god. Really... I should be sleeping, as my one month old son is FINALLY asleep for a change, but once I started reading this, I couldn't stop. I feel lots of twists and surprises ahead for us. Cant wait for an update. I have you on alerts now. yay!
