Yay, thank you for updating :)  Hmm.. so you say this isn't going to be like a typical Sess/Kag plotline.  I believe it.  I felt from the beginning that this was an interesting plot device.  I'm really curious as to how Kagome is going to heal from her cancer (I'm assuming it's going to be fixed somehow...otherwise it's gonna be a short story, lol).  I can't wait to find out.

I thought this was a good transtional chapter.  Kagome awakens, she heals Rin, it almost kills her, her sacrifice garners Sesshoumaru's respect.  I thought the bones of this chapter were very good, but it would be even better if you filled it out even more with interactions or maybe expand some more of what he thought of her in the past?  Please keep in mind that I'm probably biased because I'm a greedy reader, hehe.  Also, I would re-think using the word "gobble-de-gook".  Using such a modern, almost silly colloquialism kind of snapped me out of the moment.  Even though it's third person, the last part of the chapter felt like it was telling Sesshoumaru's perspective.  As such, maybe it would be better to use a more serious word like confusion, or rebellious thoughts, contention...or something of that nature.  Anyhoo, it's just a thought, but your chapter is fine the way it is too.  Thank you for the new chapter and keep up the good work!   

Now there's something you don't expect to see... the words "gobble-de-gook" in relation to Sesshoumaru. :P

Great story.  I've watch my Grandmother go through a brain tumor without treatment.  It's hard.  Can't wait for more of the story.
