I didn't think about the fact that Sesshomaru's father's family would have used Sesshomaru's mate as a hostage, like the elderly aunt.  And now Kouga is going to confront Sesshomaru.  Can't wait to find out how that works out for him.  But I hope you don't kill Kouga off, he's one of my favorite characters...

I'm now having a nervous breakdown at the thought of having to wait to see the coming confrontation between Koga and Sesshoumaru... I really, really want to see this!

I am just tickled that you updated this!!  *giggles*  I almost feel worn out after reading a chapter of this story, so much happens that you are left breathless!

I cannot wait to see how Sess handles Koga showing up, spouting nonsense.  Let alone Thor and Freyr...I hardly think they are the type to suffer a fool.

*rolls around gleefully in the two new chapters* The information you put into the past two chapters was quite a lot to swallow. Kagome could have been used against Sesshomaru if he knew she was his soulmate. Yet he didn't know she was his soulmate until after he had already given himself up, and any hope of finding his mate, in order for her to live. Wow. Talk about tangled strings of fate. Now Sango has taken off on her own because she thinks Miroku is cheating on her and Freyre is pissed at Miroku. Will Sango come into some trouble that causes harm to her baby? Will Freyr follow her to the slayers village and be the first to comfort her?

And Koga...I can't wait to see what happens when he shows up and tries to claim Kagome as his woman with Sesshomaru there. Can't wait for your next chapter.

Oh, Sidhe! You simply must update soon! I can hardly wait to see the developments! I'm feeling a little anxious for some Sess/Kag time too since they've been a little neglected the last couple of chapters. You write so well, and I understand your adoration and loathing of the COMMA. It's hard not to use it, since it's natural to use it as a "breath" mark in a sentence. Please don't hesitate in continuing your wonderful story. It's been...gosh... since before ASS closed that I read it. Now to have it again is a true delight!  I like it just as much, if not more, than when I first encountered it! Keep typing!

Oh WOW, what an incredible story!  I just happened upon it yesterday and just finish through the latest update.

I really love the idea of Sesshomaru as a Feline as well as Norse.  Now this is a new twist to our familiar story.

Please update soon.  I want to see how Freyr handles Miroku.

Freyr and Sango are really in a tough situation!  Maybe if Freyr actually talked to her...but then Miroku...oh, man, this is going to be prickly!

It sounds strange, but I really like the way you portray the Inu no Taisho.  Normally, he is set up as a gentle, funny, fatherly figure, but in the series, he is referred to as the "great and terrible".  The way you have made him seems much more realistic to what a male demon of his status would be like.  Also, the history of how he ended up with Izayoi seems much more believable.

What a great chapter! I was totally involved in it and couldn't look away. It is really good. I think that your writing has matured during your time away from us. I can't wait to read the next chapter, but, I know, I have to wait until next week :(.

Sidhe, I don't think that I mentioned to you that I am a grammar/spelling anal retentive, ocd freak. I found the following things and thought I would bring them to your attention:

Miroku was the first to arrive in the courtyard to welcome the hunters, and, as a result,

Sesshomaru sighed[,] before passing his catch (If you read the sentence aloud, this comma seems unnecessary.)

“It might be for the best if you kept your distance from Freyr[”,] ," he stated quietly. (Punctuation goes inside the quotation marks.)

He would smile and charm effortlessly any and all, no matter if they happened to be friend or foe,

So here he was, a supposedly all powerful Taiyoukai,

But he couldn’t shake the notion that there was more to his seeming dislike of him [that] than a convenient

Because, in truth, Sango

And, at the time, she had been far more drawn to the vile male

Though, in her own defense, Kagowaki might very well have been a good man

A new chapter? Cool! This story is an excellent read, especially with Sesshy's interactions with the tachi and his siblings. As for Inuyasha, Emiko may be a good start for him to finally grow up. But I can see he has a very long way to go. Hopefully, he has the intelligence to apologize, not just to Kagome for calling her a whore (I'm glad his beast chastised his ass), but to everyone else for his stupid behavior. I wonder who else he'd meet up with on the way. At least, he kicked Kikyo to the curb, undead, unfeeling you-know-what. Geez, what was their father thinking in that Inu were superior to Tora when:

1. Tora are shapeshifters and

2. Their offspring are full-blooded, and not mixed, regardless of who they mate with?

Miroku better put a pep in his step and express his feelings to Sango before Freyr steps in and scoops her up. I hope they defeat Naraku soon and complete the Jewel. That thing is a pain in the neck and should just disappear. I already can't wait for the next chapter. Good to see this story again. Awesome job. ^_^
