Ruriame (Chapter 29) - Sun 11 Apr 2010

I really like what you did with this chapter. The conversation at the very end was intense. I was wondering if/when Kagome might let him know what she thought about the whole situation.

Midnight Cat (Chapter 29) - Sun 11 Apr 2010

Wow!! That was an amazing chapter!! The emotions that I experienced while reading it were more than I could describe; and in a way I understand both of their sides, and it is sadto see the suffering they are putting themselves into. I will make no excuses for what Sesshomaru did. Kagome is right in saying that he was very self serving since all he saw was how to obtain gains to his benefit, but perhaps 500 years of penance is also a long time to carry the guilt and pain for his actions.

All I can say is that I love the way this story is going and I look forward with desperation for the next chapter, the cliffhanger was a nice touch, and I really want to know what Kagome's reaction is going to be to Sesshomaru's words.

Let the healing begin!

Hugs:

MidCat

knifethrower (Chapter 29) - Sun 11 Apr 2010

Awesome writing!  Great chapter!  I DO love your characterizaton of both Sesshomaru and Kagome.

Sala (Chapter 29) - Sun 11 Apr 2010

Way to put her in her place, Sesshoumaru.  Although Kagome does deserve one of the best pity parties available, she herself has fallen into the same mentality that Inuyasha constantly used on her: comparing a person to someone that they aren't.  She deserves to see that in her bitterness she has become bigotted toward the wrong individual.  But I'd also hope that 500 would have helped him to realize that Kagome does not respond well to a cold facade.

knifethrower (Chapter 27) - Sun 11 Apr 2010

Kagome is so brave.  Not the ridiculous, action-hero kind of brave, but the real kind, where a person knows what they have to do even if they are terrified to do it.

darkangel05 (Chapter 29) - Sun 11 Apr 2010

The only thing that was wrong with this chapter is that it wasn't long enough. Im so glad that Kagome decided to make the distinction between herself, Kikyo and Rin. I also thought that it was pretty cool that Sesshoumaru did the same thing, distinguishing himself as not it but as Sesshoumaru. Not that it would make a difference. Another fact that Kagome had made was Sesshoumaru going on this trip to not make up for what he put Kagome through put to help assuage his own guilt. And he expects her to be stupid enough to not figure out the real reason he is going on this adventure? Doesn't get anymore pathetic than that. After all that was said and done between them I wonder how everything is going to play out amongst the two. I mean where did Sesshoumaru go and what will Kagome think of herself of the confession she mad to Sesshoumaru? Besides being therapeutic? Another thing that I am looking forward to is seeing what happens Mumbai. What kind of new discoveries and demons will the come across. And now that they're in a world that is overrun by humans how will they go about their plan of attack? Just so many questions and to few answers. LoL! Thank you for this chapter and I really hope that you decide to UPDATE SOON!

redpixie (Chapter 29) - Sun 11 Apr 2010

You know, he really has a point...

Anyways, I don't think I've ever reviewed this story, but I really want to say that I'm thoroughly enjoying it ! When I first started reading it, I thought it'd be the usual 'Oh no he raped me - oh wait, I fell in love with him right after anyway, he's just so pretty and so good in bed' but I kept being pleasantly surprised. I'm glad that Kagome's showing some spirit, even if it's hard for her to deal with Sesshoumaru...

Can't wait for the next update ;)

MissTeak (Chapter 29) - Sun 11 Apr 2010

THIS IS THE BEST THING TO READ AT 2.10AM IN THE MORNING!! XD I literally squealed in excitement when I saw a new chapter!!! LOVE YOU FOR POSTING THIS, DARLING! :))

Honestly, Maddie, I felt my heart squeeze most uncomfortably when I read how Kagome was simply wishing for someone to care for her as her and not because she resembled/is a descendant of someone else. It's really sad in a very simple way, and I guess that's when sadness is at its strongest.

Another thing I'd love to commend you on is this:

"You are neither Rin nor Kikyo," he stated.

Kagome waited for more, never looking away from his face, as she felt her tears drip on her hands.

"I am not it."

Powerful, powerful words which stole my breath away. I feel so sad for the two of them - they are both victims of circumstances, no matter what they try to think /say.

Perfect work there, I am looking forward to more!

RC (Chapter 28) - Wed 07 Apr 2010

I love your story. No other way to describe it, really. I honestly cant wait for Sessh and Kag's worldtrip && this'll seem really messed up, but, I think I like Sesshoumaru's beast more than Sesshoumaru himself...o.O

Anyway, Please keep up the wonderful work!

Kaysan (Chapter 28) - Tue 06 Apr 2010

This is an excellent chapter. I'm really enjoying your story. This chapter was a good wrap out to Sesshoumaru becoming the man he is in the future. The fact that he broke his promise to RIN by hurting Kagome was a really good idea. Keep up the good work and looking forward to more.

MissTeak (Chapter 23) - Tue 06 Apr 2010

MissTeak to Sesshoumaru:

"Oh, you evil Sesshymaru, I demand you explain why you kissed Kagome NOW. WHYYYY did you kiss her before pushing her into the well?! If you like her, say it! If you don't....ummm....well....this is Dokuga, so you HAVE TO LIKE HER. Period."

...okay. Now, before I get slashed into a thousand pieces, I think I have to tell you how much I appreciate the thoughts and effort that has gone into analyzing the timelines and making sure nothing went wrong in between! It is so hard writing time travel fics especially since the tendency to mess up the timeline exists, but you did a perfect job of addressing every issue, character and explaining everything well to the reader.

And just as I thought it'd be a SOB-SOB-LET'S-HUG-AND-GET-MARRIED ending, NO! You, brilliant authoress, have decided to throw in more plot twists in the form of the recovery of the three remaining shards. Well done, really! I am anticipating the shard-hunting journey, and hope that they would run into more trouble and nasty events so the love can be allowed to grow~!! That'd be so romantic, and honestly, I am a sucker for the hero saves damsel-in-distress sort of plot. (You read Wisteria, my dear, so you should understand best) HAHA please make Sesshoumaru save her from some form of trouble again and let her realize he is not so much of a creep as he seems to be. LOL. Only you can do this now, lovely Madison! So save this couple before this MissTeak loses it! I cannot wait for more, seriously. This is too darn good.

MissTeak (Chapter 14) - Tue 06 Apr 2010

Dear Madison,

Now, I officially adore the iPhone 3GS because I can actually use the time when I am travelling to school to read Blood Stained! And guess what? That's EXACTLY what I did and I am utterly, completely, hopelessly in love with this story now. I was entertaining the thought of leaving one long review behind but hey, I realize I feel too strongly for certain chapters and I just have to review immediately or I would just wither and die.

Back to the main point of this post.

I am SO ROYALLY PISSED AT SESSHOUMARU NOW. What on earth does he take her for?? He treats her like shit and expects like, EVERYTHING out of her! OK, pardon the language (now you know how strongly I feel about this). He is such a class A asshole now; I'd bite him if I see him. HAHAHA and it is not biting of the friendly/kinky sort. It is the OUCH!! type of bite. What a meanie. But of course, the fact that I can get so mad at my dearest Sesshymaru means you've done a fantabulous job at writing him! He is extremely in character here, which is excellent because I know how hard it is to make him evil to Kaggy especially since we all love her to some extent.

Rin is such a sweetheart too; I find myself exceptionally happy whenever she appears in the story. She might have played merely a small role in this story, but her presence had been so crucial to Kagome's sanity. All that raping and abuse was so terrible but you manage to paint such realistic pictures with your words, which contributed to the overall experience of reading!!

Rin Akarui (Chapter 28) - Mon 05 Apr 2010

Wow, that was a very well written chapter. It really gave me insight as to how Sesshomaru changed from that stubborn idiot from the feudal era to what he is now.

I can't wait to see what happens next! Keep up the great work! :]

Lexie (Chapter 28) - Mon 05 Apr 2010

wow. guilt - atonement? those words just dont seem to go with sesshoumaru - the killing perfection

Kagomes gonna have one hell of rollercoaster ride ahead of her

please update!!

Sorrows Amaranth (Chapter 28) - Sun 04 Apr 2010
