Ghaaaa!  I feel like a bad friend who didn't return a phone call for not reviewing when I first read this chapter but I've been crazy busy.  Now...onto business.  Congratulations on your Nominations!!!!!  You deserve them 100%!!!!!!  Now....I love this chapter sooooo very much.  I thought the moment when they both felt the baby kick for the first time was so beautifully written and perfect and once again I could see it in my head.  Now you have me confuzzled(Yes it's a made up word and it's mine but you can borrow it if you want LOL)...I'm wondering if they got the real shard because that was WAY too easy.  I'm insanely curious about Kagome's surge in power and I have my theories but I'm going to wait and see if I'm right(That's right I'm not tellin! LOL)  I'm glad Sessh kinda put his foot down with her this time.  Really she's been walking all over him and it's high time she started to understand the difference between the two of them.  I think the beasts reappearace had an effect of Sessh that he hasn't quite realized yet because he could have simply put her down to check her temperature but instead chose to kiss her head. Granted it was quick but it was a start.  It's going to be interesting to see their interaction when they reach the village and I wait on pins and needles for your next update!  Hope all is well and that you're having a fantastic week!!!!!(Or well HAD seeing as how it is now Thursday and I'm a slacker LoL!)

OMG!! Dear Madison: This has got to be one of The Best chapters ever!!! That was just absolutely amazing!! The special moment shared between them will live forever in their minds and to know that Kagome is no longer being so obtuse about Sesshomaru is just making my heart sing!!

You have no idea how grateful I am for being able to see a little inside of Sesshomaru's mind and see more of his thoughts and emotions regarding Kagome and the pup! It just seems that the little guy is bend on having both parents by his side, and regardless of everything that has gone bad, you can see that there is so much that has changed and we can only be grateful that it has been for the better!

Sesshomaru still has much to atone for, he is by no means free of all the pain and suffering he has caused, but he is showing great improvement and it just shows that sometimes even the worst of them can change and earn a second chance.

I am not saying right now, obviously he still needs to work more on himself, but there seems to be a light at the end of the proverbial tunnel, and this time is not a train wreck coming Kagome's way!! LOL!!

Gee girl!! If I beg and beg, and nag a little, you think I can convince you to update again real soon?? I am really DYING to find out what happens next!!! ***Goes on her knees and shows puppy eyes*** Pleeease??

This has become one of my favorite stories and I ALWAYS look forward to your updates, it just makes my day whenever I see that you updated!! You have an amazing imagination and a way with words, it just shines across the screen and it just makes this story one of the best!!

Hmm, very curious, has something been added to her bloodstream through the cut? Or is whoever is doing this somehow draining something out of her? I still cringe every time Sess touches her and as they seem slowly to be reaching an understanding (Noooo! don't do it! - Even if her participation is necessary to save the world, I really want to tell her to just say screw it, let the world do what it will, it's not her problem anymore.  sadly, I know she's not going to listen to me though :P )

(also - I wanted to leave a response to your A/N last chapter - glad to hear you don't have a tumor! although it's true, muscle spasms can be super painful. Hope you're feeling better soon. And don't get addicted to your painkillers :)

ooo. so was she posioned, or was it the kid or what? The kicking scene was sweet. and yay for progress! Too bad Kagome is unconcious.  but yeah, can't wait to read the next chapter.

YAY!! Update from Maddie!! Apparently, the saying 'there's always a first time for everything' sounds so apt here; I adored the way this chapter turned out to be. It's perfect, and I should really elaborate why.

Firstly, Kagome seems to have started to accept the fact that Sesshoumaru and Mr. Beast are TWO entities. Well, they are sort of one, physically, but mentally and everything else, they are two. Her willingness to accept his help got me happy and hopeful, and the best part of it was she felt the physical effects of their closeness, whereby it is no longer so painful and uncomfortable when he touches her. Beautiful concepts there! Gives Sesshy more of a reason to touch LOL.

Secondly, I love the idea of Kiyoshi responding to their physical contact!! He is SOOOOO adorable and he is not even out of Kagome's body yet so that's really really sweet. He would be the link between them, I believe.

Thirdly, and perhaps most importantly, Sesshoumaru's ability to talk back to Kagome!! This is the best part, in my opinion. I was practically whispering "YES!" when he talked back to her. Kagome is sugar and spice and everything nice, but the girl can be too obstinate for her own good and what she needs is a firm "No" to put her in her place sometimes. So Sesshoumaru's firm stand on certain issues brings about more good than harm to her, which is a very positive development in this relationship. Good job for thinking of this, Maddie!!

But now, the chapter is keeping me on the edge of my seat because they are obviously in some sort of problem again and it seems like a  really, really bad one!!! Poor Kagome, I wonder what really happened to her? But of course, to have Sesshoumaru carry you in his arms after you black out...LOL I'd willingly black out a thousand times. Congratulations on your nominations too, Maddie! Blood Stained rocks!!

Wow...I think that Sesshoumaru is finally starting to like the feeling of having a mate around. Judging by his reactions and new understandings about his pup being hanyou and mate being a human I think we might start to see a huge turn around. Yay! Thank you for this chapter and I really hope that you UPDATE SOON!!!!

Heck, I am just as confused as poor Sesshoumaru. Kagome is one confusing woman. You know if Inuyasha had not been an idiot at the time, Sesshoumaru's beast may not have killed him. But as always, Inuyasha always acts before thinking. Kagome should take these matters into consideration. I know the rape was wrong, but in the Youkai Society, Sesshoumaru did treat her with honor by mating her instead of disrespecting her honor. Great story!

it seems the little youkais sedated her, so that her miko powers tried to rise in her defense, but failed...i would not be suprised when they tricked the all the time and injected something in kagomes bloodstream when they slashed her the first time....i just hope kagome and little kiyoshi are fine >.<

Wow... that was a hell of a trip so far for her... Did the bleeding was because of the pup's distress or she was really hurt? I'm glad the beast is kind of understanding at least a bit of her pain, I would like to see Seshoumaru other version developing feelings for her, been caring not just because of Rin, I really like when he is that way. They are up to a tough ride with all their past chasing them. Great chapter!!

YAYYY!! An update!! Gosh, you made my day Maddie dear! I am feeling pretty bummed out because I have an exam tomorrow and it seriously sucks but still, I love Blood Stained and it makes me happy to read such an amazing piece of work! Now let me review from the start of the chapter...

Firstly, awww I am anticipating some Sesshoumaru-pup interaction! That would be really sweet, since Sesshoumaru is the one who can comfort the poor little baby now. I still adore the idea of him wearing the youki-suppressing device; it is the first time I've read about this in stories and it is such an amazing idea! :) Of course, the downside to removing that device to release his demonic aura would be the release of the beast in its relentless pursuit of Kagome. And well, we know very well it wouldn't be in the best of moods since they have literally fooled him into allowing her to escape right under his nose.

Secondly, GOSH, this is the part that made me :(. Like SAD FACE x 100000000000. LOL mainly because it kinda broke my heart to have Kagome entertaining ideas of barring Sesshoumaru from the baby. It's just so tragic, and while I can understand her thoughts (since we can never shake the idea of him being her rapist off) I believe she should sooner or later, realize that Sesshoumaru (of the present day) is at the very least, decent and controlled. So he shouldn't be shunned like he was carrying some disease or fleas or whatever LOL. Kagome, give him a chance!!! PLEASE! for everyone's sake!! Somehow I feel really really really sorry for him; someone so perfect should not be treated as such, and in some ways, he is trying to make amendments.

Thirdly, WOOTS for Kagome being able to use her bow and arrow again! It's really cool to know she's getting back to how it was, though like Sesshoumaru, I was praying she did not have to use it though in the end she still had to. HAHA.

Fourthly, excellent, excellent suspense and descriptions of scenes there! I swear, I could sense the fog. LOL! And that's really kinda scary, since they are now no longer the same old demon lord and miko, but instead, suppressed-demon and pregnant woman. Which is soooo dangerous, but somehow I knew the moment was coming, because the danger was too much for Kagome. So the dreaded moment has finally arrived, and Sesshoumaru resorted to the last option on his hands - the release of the beast within. OMG thank goodness the beast did not do anything physical to Kagome other than pushing her into a corner with its words, or she'd have panicked and fainted on the spot or something. Thank goodness, thank goodness. I was honestly fearing it might take a turn for the worse, and Sesshoumaru would never be able to redeem himself.

All in all, excellent read Maddie!!! I loved this!!! :D *hugggs* can't wait for more, and take care!!!
