Miss K, this is  sooo intriguing! What could possibly have backed Naraku? What kind of power is it that demons cannot fight? And what is the connection between Naraku and Jakotsu? Other than blood. Poor Kagome. Poor Kyo. He's not going to be ready for someone else to court his mother for a loooong time. But, once again, I LOVE Ren! When I grow up, I want to be just like her! LOL. Maybe that should be - IF- I grow up.

Okay, it's official: I Love Ren!!! A strong woman of intelligence, who uses her accute powers of observation and deduction, who states those observations... Ren is my hero! Sesshoumaru, however, reminds me of someone I know who was born a jerk and embraced it! My only complaint about this highly captivating tale is that you can't write it at demon speed! But I will happily accept what you choose to give and be thankful. ;)

For your consideration - I found the following:

That was awkward and embarrassing.  Poor Kagome!  Hopefully, Sesshomaru's plan is going to get scrapped after this...  Though I don't really dislike Sesshy's choice of mate for Kagome, she deserves someone who comes to her in honesty...

Thank goodness for Kyo's actions.  I hope he realizes that this was his uncle's intentions.  Maybe then he wouldn't idolize him so much.  Even though she is a human, Kagome isn't bad.  She doesn't need to be pawned off to the highest bidder.  Sesshoumaru is ashamed of her, but I hope Kyo never is.  Please update more!

Poor Kagome.  Does Sesshoumaru really think it will be that easy to get rid of her.  Inuyasha might change his mind about murdering him if he finds out.  Nice update!  I just hope that Kagome finds out Sesshoumaru's plan!

Jockeying those characters into position is difficult, but you handled this chapter very gracefully.  Tricky Sesshomaru, I can see him handling the situation with Kagome and her son just the way you wrote it.  His deal-making stuck in my mind after watching the anime and reading the manga...

Wow....I love this story! Though it was kinda obvious that Bakusaiga's evil twin sword was the "presence" that was corrupting the area. I absolutely lov the part where Kagome kisses Naraku's tush to me I thought it was hilarious. It was tragic though that Inuyasha had to die because he couldn't fight the influence of his demon blood and the presence of Bakusaiga's evil twin sword.

WONDERFUL!!!! I love the fight scene, it was so...Kagome! The way she released her powers, the fight with Naraku! It was perfect in conception and perfect in execution! Especially Naraku's. I'm always ready for him to be killed. If only he would stay that way!

I love the way you develop your characters into well-rounded people. Even the minor characters have depth to them. I know your stories will be good, no matter how they end. ;)

Great, great, great, great! This is most definitely one of the best fics i have read! Wow, I love that Kags turned into a mama bear and was able to access her potential. Whew, I hope this continues and I hope that her and Sess find "release" from each other. Awesome!

Squeee That was soooo cool Miss K!!!! So now Sesshoumaru has the dark and light parts of the sword? Eeee I can't wait for more.

I'm so glad that Kagome was the one who killed Naraku.  I think it is funny that she got turned on by his death.  Who knew that battle could make her so horny?  :)  Her questions about Sesshoumaru hitting puberty were also funny.  Maybe Sesshoumaru does need to start groping her?  Thanks for the new chapter!

Okay, got that out. Miss K, that was cruel. But I understand, the chapters stop themselves. And, once again, you brought me to tears, I like Toutousai and I'm sad he's chosen to die. But, it is what it is. And I wouldn't be having these issues with tears if you didn't do such a good job of creating realistic and well-rounded characters. And then there's the problem with you writing such good, addictive stories. Why do I have the feeling that you are going to make me cry even more than you did over 'Atonement'?

I found one thing to bug you with, a slip of the fingers on the keyboard: "abandoning it with its maker would relief some of the burden he felt" - relieve.

Keep going, girl, write more beautiful prose, make me love these people you create, then break my heart! And I walk into these stories with my eyes wide open! Why? ;)

This is exciting!  Kagome's excitement when she discovered she could wade into danger without so much fear of injury was very believable.  I like the moments of humor as well, like when Kagome was donning the demon armor.  Really, saying it felt like she was being licked all over by demons did sound a little deviant.  I look forward to the next chapter...

Poor Kagome's life has been so hard.  I think it's sad that Sesshoumaru likes her better broken, not that he likes her at all.  Thanks for the updates.  This is a very interesting story.
