hm, no beta-note... your little banters are such fun. ^.^ Great series, I had such a blast reading them! PLEASE write more... I would be oh so sad without those FIREMENS! (PS- why do all the women Touga loved/married turn into drunks when he left? I remember you mentioned that about Izayoi, and now Sessy's mom. A little dramatic, perhaps, but I find it amusing...) ^.^

I realize that by relaying this information to you I will be demonstrating the fact that I need a life, but there are no author's notes on chapters 2 and 6. Because of this terrible occurrance, I have had to up the dosage on my medication. As to this chapter, once more you have done a wonderful job of depicting people as they really are. I have met people like Nikkou, so caught up in their anger and bitterness that it's all they have left. They have driven everyone who could help them heal away. She is a very real character. I love the way this story is progressing. I also love the way you are showing what made Sesshoumaru the person he is.

This is a very fresh and original story, not to mention one of the hottest pieces of prose ever written, with an actual plot! I'm still fanning myself from chapters 16 and 17, WHEW! I'm not sure that I can take another of PPN's chapters, but I'll sure give it my best try! When the winter winds blow, I intend to re-read this to keep myself warm all winter long.

And finally, I have to give your beta, Wiccan, her props! She is an excellent beta! You are fortunate to have such a detail-oriented, fragrant, kind and generous beta. I haven't been able to catch many mistakes, but then, when I'm reading this story, I don't care! Whew! It's hot in here!

I don't know which one I dislike more, Sesshoumaru's mother or father. It was a little mean of Sesshoumaru not to warn Kagome about what she was going to incounter before they got there. As for his bed, Sesshfoumaru is so hot he probably got plenty of action there even with his mother being the way she is. Thank you for your update.

“It’s not too late, you know.” <---- hahahahahahahahahaha i love that! i hafta say i'm really proud of you for making a fiction that while AU is IC for who you created, with the world you created and everything, this story is really refreshing considering some of the over used plots, mine included. This is amazing and i probably wont ever be able to tell you just how much. :3 r0o luffs it!

At long last I have finally gotten a chance to read this. I actually began reading it a while ago but only got a few chapters in before school and work took up more of my time. Now that I have nothing to do for a few more hours I thought... well I have my laptop and a wireless connection why not read. Of course the first story I return to was this one because it is so amazing. I really love it. So much so that I can get enough of it. I can't wait for more... literally can't wait... I might actually die waiting.lol. But you guys are all dong a really amazing job. Keep up the wonderful work.

I'm glad that Sesshoumaru was able to hear Kagome talk to her mother. Hopefully that will convince him that she really loves him. However, even though he thinks "I love you", is an empty phrase, I hope that he really means it when he says it to Kagome. She has been there so much for him, she deserves his respect and love. Wonderful update!

awww this chapter makes me feeli like they have hope no matter how complicated life gets for them, and i know it will get complicated with real life issues, etc. it's just so nice.

I'm glad that Kagome isn't changing her whole schedule for Sesshoumaru. Especially since now she's not only going to have to share his time with the firestation, but Inuyasha as well.
